What To Do?

I'm at the end of my bloggy road.

I've enjoyed blogging over the last 2+ years, and all the truly wonderful relationships I've built over this time, but now, I feel like I don't know what else to say.

I'm not struggling trying to conceive anymore, although every time I have sex I want to take a pregnancy test. And, we're not in the process of adopting again... I have crazy life experiences daily, but I haven't felt compelled to write about them. Perhaps I just figured that you're bored with the same-ol-same-ol and won't read or comment. I don't know.

Perhaps I just haven't felt inspired and I'm looking for meaning.

So, I'm wondering if this is the end of The Sassy Infertile Lady...

{cue the sad music}

I don't want to stop blogging, but maybe I just need a different name/look/feel and focus...
I don't know. Trying to figure out what to do next.

  1. No! Don't leave! Take a break if you need to, but don't leave. Sometimes people read and don't leave comments. I have one friend who doesn't have a blog or google account, but told me she LOVES your blog. She found it from my blog.
    So, while you might be considering it, please don't leave...I know I would miss you!

  2. I'll miss you if you stop blogging! You should use your blog for whatever yo like. No need for it to be adoption/IF related. I feel like mine is mostly venting lately.

    Good luck figuring things out.

  4. Well...I can't MAKE you keep blogging :). And truth be told, if I weren't blogging about IF, I wouldn't be blogging at all. But...I would miss you if you were gone!

  5. I think that's your call. You can continue the full transition to an infertility turned adoption turned parenting blog if you want....I know I started out as an IF blog, but now I'm more of a parenting blog...occassional IF...but mostly parenting. I have plenty of bloggy friends with kids the same age and similar interests and I have fun reading about their updates and seeing their new ideas for playtime, foods, time away from kids, etc.
    It just depends what you are looking for. I don't think you have to be TTC or trying to adopt to blog! Tell us about Bryce! Tell us about work! Tell us about life! I think most people can relate...
    And often the blog is for you, not everyone else. Don't blog if it's just for others. I blog as an outlet for me to get things out there as well as to document my girls lives, milestones, etc...
